The lifespan of roadside trees is limited by salting. Road salt puts trees under stress. It is toxic and makes it difficult for trees to absorb nutrients and water. Many things indicate that CMA does not harm trees and plants to the same extent as road salt. In fact, CMA improves the structure of the soil and acts as a fertilizer.
